Everyone has Disney Annual Passes and we enjoy a hot, hectic week in the parks of Disney. Rosie and Lynn share the new Airbed/Couch for sleeping and Marie sleeps on the floor under the dining room table. I am thrilled that I can get up in the morning and go outside without tripping over the fold out couch.
It is hot here at Disney and we decide to go to Animal Kingdom. Rosie gets heat stroke and passes out near the Mount Everest Roller Coaster and the Disney staff get us a wheelchair for her. We wheel her to the first aid station where they fill her with liquids and air conditioning and let her take a nap. One hour later she is good as new and we know to never go to Animal Kingdom on a really hot day because there is no shelter from the heat there.
I took a break from the girls one day and went to visit mom and dad to catch up on things. They also came to visit us on my birthday and we had dinner at the Trails End Restaurant.
We went to Chef Mickeys, The Hoop De Doo Revue, all of the parks including a ride on the new Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and even managed to catch the last show of The American Idol Experience.
The golf cart was great to have but it only seats four and there were five of us traveling. I didn’t mind, most days I just walked or rode my bicycle.
At the end of the trip, Rosie’s friends Ed and Anne came to pick her up so she could spend some time with them then Marie headed out for her trip home, Lynn left Sunday morning after a little trouble when the bus didn’t stop to pick her up.
