We started visiting RV dealers and going to several New England RV Shows in the winter of 2011. We narrowed our choices and scoured the listings on RVTrader. We eventually found a listing too good to be true, a privately owned, one year old Itasca Navion in Maine at a very reasonable price. We called right away and jumped in the car for the 3 hour drive to go see it. On the ride up we decided that if it looked as good as it sounded we should buy it on the spot and that is exactly what we did.
We went back several days later with Karl and Ronnie. Karl and I tested every system, appliance, and function while Ellen and Ronnie checked out the functionality. We then had to shovel it out of its Winter slumber and get it up to the road so we could drive it home. It was all very exciting and we couldn’t wait for the Spring thaw so we could really start using it.
