The Beaches of Salisbury became our second destination. Salisbury Beach State Park features a large campground right at the oceanfront. A short walk from the campsite takes you directly to the river and boat launch area, walking in the other direction takes you to the soft sandy beaches of the Atlantic Ocean crowded with day trippers all trying to soak up the sunshine. Riding our bicycles northward takes us to the tourist section of town with restaurants, night clubs and arcades, continuing a little further North takes us over the state border into New Hampshire. It’s a beautiful ride along the seashore dotted with single family beachfront homes glistening in the sunshine and an occasional New England seafood restaurant. Clam Chowder, Fried Clams, Lobster and Fish all available to eat in or take out.
