We arrive early to Nappanee and find a really nice pull through space that allows us to drop our trailer and keep it in our campsite instead of across the road. The campground is filling up and it looks like a busy time of year for the Service Technicians.
The really fun part about service at Newmar is that they start at 6AM! We need to get up by 5:30 to pull in the slides, tidy up a little and be ready to roll when the technician arrives. Lucky for us it only takes 2 days to do all of our service and then we can sleep in a little longer.
Our service involved replacing the TV antenna system (for the second time), repairing the furnace (for the third time) and a bunch of minor stuff just to make it right. We are hoping the furnace and antenna are now good for a long time but we’ll find out down the road.
We have a small wear problem with our front seats but they could not schedule in the repair at this time so we’ll be back here in the spring to get that done.
While we are here in Nappanee we get to take the factory tour and catch up with our great friends, Ashley, Michelle, Roxy, and Christy, the tour guides here at Newmar. We missed Roxy this time, she was on vacation and Christy is a new addition to the family that is a lot of fun to be with.
We also have a mission while on the tour. Fellow Hoots, Bill and Sandy Hunt have a new Ventana going down the line and we need to send them pictures! It is looking great and we can't wait to see the completed coach at Hoots in October!
