The two most interesting parts of Missouri were the very beginning and the very end. At the beginning, we entered Missouri at St Louis, The Gateway Arch is a magnificent structure welcoming us to the city and to the western side of the Mississippi River, if we had more time we would have spent a day or two here exploring the city and its culture. Roughly three hundred miles later we come to the western end of Missouri and stop for the night at the Joplin 44 Truck Stop. This truck stop is huge and has the biggest toy store for truck drivers I have ever seen. There are CB radios, lights and chrome items glistening everywhere! This place is huge, it even has two full size 18 wheelers inside. It also has a food court, western clothing store and a gift shop. It's pretty impressive even if you're not a trucker! And the best part? We filled the car at $1.91 per gallon!
We're hoping the next state is a little more interesting.
