We got to the park early, right around opening, and went straight to the Dolphin Theatre. The current show is called Blue Horizons and features Dolphins, Tropical Birds and Human Aerialists. The show is absolutely incredible, undoubtedly the best event at SeaWorld! The dolphin performances are exceptional and the blending of the birds and aerialists make this a showstopper. We could have watched for hours.
We took the short walk from the tropical world of dolphins straight to the freezing temperatures of Antarctica. This frozen habitat houses Seaworld's cast of Penguins. Antarctica features a short ride that follows the young life of a newborn penguin and ends at the Penguin habitat. The habitat is kept at 32 degrees so we felt right at home.
After visiting Antarctica we head over to the Sea Lion Theater to see the opening performance of the brand new "Sea Lion High" featuring Clyde & Seamore performing a variety of antics as High School Seniors trying to complete their classes for graduation. It is a great new show with the message "Education Through Exploration and Imagination".
